We’re conveniently based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, just minutes from I-25 and I-80 — easily accessible for students across southeastern Wyoming, northern Colorado, and the Nebraska panhandle.

Yes — WYTDA is a registered FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) provider listed on the Training Provider Registry (TPR).
Programs & Training
Do you provide testing as well?
Yes, we have a state-certified third-party testing site located in Fort Collins, CO — students can train in Wyoming and test in Colorado if the Wyoming DMV is booked out.
What CDL programs do you offer?
We offer:
Class A CDL (Tractor-Trailer) — 3 eeks of training
Class B CDL (Straight Truck) — 3 to 5 day programs
Passenger & School Bus training
Refresher and upgrade courses for experienced drivers
Do you offer both automatic and manual training?
Absolutely. You can choose to train and test on automatic or manual transmissions.
Do you offer corporate or municipal training?
Yes — we specialize in on-site CDL training and testing for companies and public-works departments throughout Wyoming and northern Colorado.
Do you offer mobile training?
We do. Our mobile CDL training teams can travel to your job site or facility for group or employee certification.

What are the requirements to enroll?
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Age 18 or older (21 for interstate driving)
Do I need a CDL permit before enrolling?
Not necessarily — we can help you study for and obtain your permit before your training begins.

When do new classes start?
Our Introduction to Tractor-trailer courses typically begin every 2–3 weeks, and Class B and Passenger programs start weekly with instructor availability.
